Year: 2014
I also took a video:
June 9, 2013
Not sure why this was the most visited/viewed. Perhaps people just had to get a closer look. Misery loves company I guess.
#2) “Before & After” – I built a deck this Labour Day Weekend
September 3, 2013
This one also garnered some of the most comments on Facebook. I was pretty proud of myself and apparently other people were too.
#3) “Waking-Up on the North Shore”
April 26, 2013
This Spring I was blessed to visit Hawaii for a second time and Diana and I found THE most amazing cottage to rent on the North Shore of Oahu. Waking up each morning to see the sun rising from the Pacific is about as close to paradise as you can get.
#4) “Happiness Is…Opening A Seamless In One Tear”
May 8, 2013
Another one that garnered a lot of Facebook comments—especially from my cohorts in the photo industry. Some claim trickery on my part and say it’s impossible to open a seamless paper roll in a single tear. Well, it happened, and I’ve still got the 9′ long tear strip to prove it.
#5) “The Boys at the Beer Store” – Group photo for a band that doesn’t exist, Grand Bend, Ontario
July 22, 2013
Since I grew up in the Ottawa Valley I didn’t even hear the name Grand Bend until I was in my 30’s. This past summer I was properly introduced to this Southwestern Ontario Summer Mecca by my good friend Kurt. He graciously hosted a guys weekend at his family’s trailer near the beach. The Beer Store is even closer.
#6) “The Three Amigos” – Danforth & Greenwood, Toronto
May 17, 2013
I don’t know what was going on but I’m glad I caught it.
#7) “Self-Portrait” – From the bathroom balcony of the Presidential Suite @ShangriLaTO, Toronto
December 15, 2013
The most recent image/post to make it into the Top 9. I think people just had to click on it to learn how it was a self-portrait.
May 15, 2013
This ranks as one of my favourite iPhone photos I’ve ever taken. Glad other people liked it too. Probably helps that it’s Hawaii.
Sometime in August, 2013
In response to the terms of service Instagram instituted at the beginning of 2013 I started posting my TheDailyMobile imagery as collaged summaries in order to negate the likelihood of their resale/use by Instagram and it’s subsidiaries under the new ToS. However, after a voracious series of summer storms my feed was inundated with so many images of the amazing clouds left behind I couldn’t help myself and just had to join in the fun.
