The recent winds brought down the stragglers and it’s time to start raking.
ÃŽle de la Visitation is an unexpected gem in Northern Montreal that I highly recommend visiting.Â
Fairmont Bagels is a close second.

At first I wished I could’ve gotten closer before snapping a shot, but upon review I couldn’t be happier with what I managed to catch.

Last night I did a job at The Venetian Ball. It’s a huge charity gala with much food and drink and entertainment. The surprise musical guest was the legendary Stevie Wonder, and he did not dissappoint. He played longer than he was supposed to and was spot on and sang all the hits with grace and aplomb. What an unexpectedly beautiful day in Toronto. After work I headed to The Brazen Head Pub to meet up with my girlfriend and take in some of the Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Photography Festival taking place at 171 Liberty St in Liberty Village.
Along the way I stopped to snap this shot. You know winter is around the corner when the shadows are this long at 5:30 PM.
I love the back-light in this shot. It managed to be captured in the middle of my iphone’s camera adjusting for exposing for the window and foreground.
