“Take Me to Your Leader” – Professor and world’s 1st cyborg Steve Mann in his Toronto lab

Steve Mann is an incredibly brilliant and engaging speaker on matters of human-computer/robot interaction.

He has written THE book on cyborgs (literally) and considers himself to be one. He wears an optical transmitter-receiver (eye-piece) and mini-computer/recorder (fanny-pack) at all times, and is constantly gathering and transmitting audio and visual information as he goes about his daily life.

His lab on Dundas West across from the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is also installed with numerous video cameras that are constantly live- streaming to the Internet.
